In partnership with Houston Indoor Sports, the Hitmen Academy has contracted the use of their state of the art In-Line Roller Hockey facility for supplemental summer and fall skill development.
The objective of the Academy is to leverage the overlapping benefits of In-line hockey to improve conditioning, stick handling / puck control, passing, and play making skills in a non-checking environment. The Academy teams will use the facility for additional practice, intra-squad scrimmages, summer roller hockey tournament preparation, and to train for the regular season.
The program is being funded by the Hitmen Junior Hockey Association exclusively for the use of Hitmen Junior Hockey Association team members during the 2013 – 2014 season.
The Academy’s programs and schedules will be managed by a board of advisors that includes Jeff Kittrell, Eric Walloga, Glenn Frable, and Bob Perugini. Summer Sessions will begin the weekend of July 13th and run for approximately one month.
