Griffin Eatchel, 2012 Team Houston U15AA
Former Hitmen standout, Griffin Eatchel has been selected to play for the Sugarland Imperials in the NA3HL for the upcoming 2015-2016 Hockey season. Griffin recently completed the 2014-15 season as captain of the Hitmen U18 Elite team.
Griffin served as team Captain of several Hitmen youth teams, including the 2012/13 U15 AA team which was the Southwest Select Hockey Series U16AA Season runner ups.
Jeffery Skinner, 2009 Hitmen U12AA
Former Hitmen standout, Jeffery Skinner has been selected to play for the Spring Junior Blues in the NAHL for the upcoming 2015-2016 Hockey season. Jeffery recently completed the 2014-15 season with the Wooster Oilers in the Minnesota Junior Hockey league (MNJHL).
Jeffery played on numerous Hitmen youth teams including the 2009 U12 AA Tier II Texas State Championship runner up team.

Team Houston U18 Elite go undefeated to win ST Louis AA tournament
The Team Houston U18 team have announced their initial player selections to this year’s Midget Major squad. Lead by two of Texas's most talented midget coaches, Bob Stachowiak and David Marotta, the team will participate in 4 key tournaments.
The team will be playing in tournaments held in Colorado, Phoenix and Dallas, including the One Hockey “Texas Longhorn” tournament in Fort Worth in February 2015. The team will practice on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings at Sugarland, so to avoid conflict with High School hockey.
This team looks forward to competing at this year’s Silver Sticks Regional tournament in Colorado over the Thanksgiving break for a chance to advance to the International finals which place top USA teams against top Canadian teams.

The team will start practice in October to better accommodate high school seniors and reduce the cost of this travel season.

March 8, 2014 (Dallas)- The Team Houston U10 team, coach by David Weninger lost to the McKinney Lightning U10 team in the DSTHL Squirt- White Championships. After a 1-2 loss in a very close game to start the weekend, the team improved its point count in game two to 4 goals; however they fell short with a final score of 4 to 6.
The team enjoyed a winning season and some great moments in the season including a 3-1 game record in the semifinals and now head off to spring break to get some rest from a great season!

March 8, 2014 (Dallas)- The Team Houston U16 Tier II team, coach by David Marotta lost to the Dallas Oilers Tier II U16 team in the DSTHL Midget Minor Championships. After a 3-6 loss in game one, the team picked up their effort in the second game that after ending the 3rd period in a 2-2 tie, saw two overtimes periods with Team Houston losing in a five man shoot out. The Final score was 2-3.
The team enjoyed a winning season and some great moments in the season including a 4 game sweep in the semifinals and now will take a well earned break.
2013/14 Team Houston U16 Tier II - Marotta. DSTHL Midget Minor Season Runner Ups
DSTHL PLAYOFF UPDATE
The Team Houston U16 Tier II Team coached by David Marotta swept all 4 games of the Dallas Stars Travel Hockey league Semi-final playoffs for their Midget Minor division. The U16 team defeated the Dallas Jr Stars 3-1, Dallas Oilers 3-0, McKinney Lightning 6-0 and the Texas Jr Stars 3-2 to advance to the championship series next weekend against the Dallas Oilers.
Special mention to goalies Eric LeBlanc and Randy Miller for each earning a shut out and Grayson Walloga for earning a hatrick at this weekend’s playoffs.
The Team Houston U10 team coached by David Weninger also advanced to the Championship finals with a 3-1 record in their division. They enjoyed wins over the OKC Oil Kings 3-2, Jr Brahmas 3-2, Dallas Oilers 9-0 and a lone loss to Mckinney 0-6. The team will meet Mckinney in a rematch at next weekend's best of three game Championship Series.
Special mention goes to goalies Aidan Coggins and Nicholas Weninger for earning shut outs, Mark Mcculloch and Zachary Danz for earning hatricks, and Reece Lee for a playmaker award performance during this weekend’s playoffs.
Team goes undefeated in Ann Arbor Michigan
(Ann Arbor Michigan) – Team Houston U14 New swept all teams in its division at the 2014 URSA Minor Tournament over the 2014 President’s day weekend. The team swept all games to go undefeated with a record of 5-0.
The team had round robins wins over the 2000 Lapeer Storm, KOHAK- Wings, Chicago Jets and the North Olmsted Eagles. The team saw it’s hardest action in the Championship game facing the Lapeer Storm. That game resulted in a double overtime with the win decided by a six man shootout finish. Team Houston won 3 to 2 to take home the Championship!
Special mention goes out to Justin Portlock who was named MVP for the Team Houston team in the championship game and Spencer Mullin who earned a shut out during the round robin games. The team carries this momentum into their upcoming league playoff games.

Dec 1, 2013 (Dallas) – The Team Houston U12 Major team enjoyed their first tournament win of the season with a 2-0 win over the Texas Jr Stars in the championship game of the 2013 Texas Turkey Shootout tournament. This Thanksgiving tournament is part of the Lone Star State Hockey Tournament Series and was held at the NYTEX arena in North Richland Hills.
The team went 4-0-1 for the weekend with wins of 14-1 over NYTEX Allstars, 3-2 over the Witchita Warriors, 4-2 over Jr Brahmas and a 2-2 tie with the Texas Jr Stars in the round robin portion of the tournament.
Team Houston Head Coach Garrett Rosenbaum continues his focus on this talented group of 2001’s, “The coaching staff is pleased with how this team is evolving, and we continue to focus on skill development so that this team can maximize growth as we move through the season”.
Special mention goes to goalie Brenden Oglesby who earned the shut out in the championship game and led all goalies in the division with a .969 save avg, and goalie Noah Cline who lead all goalies with 3 wins in the tournament. Garret Bates also represented his Team Houston team well by winning the target shooting station during the skills competition.
